Deposits and withdrawals

01What this page can and cannot do

Below is the general picture of how payments work at the casinos we cover. It is guidance, not a guarantee. Which methods are actually available to you depends on the operator, your bank and the specific day – operators switch payment providers more often than they change their homepage.

We don't invent methods, limits or processing times for a casino that doesn't provide them itself. If the figures aren't available in the cashier or in the terms, we state that they are not provided.

02Card and bank transfer

Payment cards are still the most common entry. Visa and Mastercard are widely supported, while Dankort as a purely national card rarely works with international operators — if you have a combined card, the Visa part is used. Be aware that some Danish banks refuse or block transactions to gambling-related recipients. That's the bank's decision, not the casino's fault.

Standard bank transfer is offered by most, but it's the slowest route either way. However, it's the most straightforward option for larger amounts.

03E-wallets and vouchers

Electronic e-wallets are often the fastest withdrawal method, because the funds don't have to go through a bank clearing system. Skrill, Neteller and similar services commonly appear in the cashier. Note two things: some casinos exclude e-wallet deposits from qualifying for the welcome bonus, and the services charge their own fees.

Prepaid vouchers can be used for deposits, but can rarely be used to withdraw funds. In that case another method must still be registered.

04Cryptocurrency

A growing share of internationally licensed operators accept cryptocurrency. The advantages are fast transfers and fewer intermediaries. The downsides should not be understated: the exchange rate fluctuates, a transfer to the wrong address cannot be undone, and there is no recourse if something goes wrong.

If you use crypto, save receipts for every transaction. It is also your responsibility to keep track of the tax implications.

05Currency and fees

Many international casinos do not keep accounts in Danish kroner. If you choose euro or dollar, a conversion takes place and a margin is typically added – twice, if you both deposit and withdraw. The amount doesn't disappear in one go; it seeps away a little at a time.

Also check whether the operator charges a withdrawal fee, whether there's one free withdrawal attempt per month, and whether there's a weekly cap. A cap set below a large win means the payout is split across several weeks.

06Verification and payout time

The first withdrawal almost always triggers a verification: ID, proof of address and usually proof of the payment method. It's a legal requirement, not harassment, but it takes time. Send the documents as soon as you create the account, rather than waiting until you have a win.

Expect that a payout is processed internally by the operator first, and then goes on through the payment provider. E-wallets are typically fastest, cards are in the middle, bank transfer is slowest. If it drags on without explanation, written contact with support is the first step — and save the responses.
