Olympus Explosion — RTP 96,37 %, high volatility

It is a gap that matters. Volatility is set to High, and in a high-variance game the ceiling is the only way to assess whether the wait is commensurate with the prize. Without the number I can describe the mechanics, but not put them on a scale. The game was released 20. april 2026.

01The missing max win

When a field is empty, the honest conclusion is that the number is not provided — not that it is low or high. Some providers only state the max win after certification with the individual operator; others don't disclose it at all in their public materials.

For the player it means you must find the figure in the game's own info screen before deciding. There is no way around it, and it is one of the places where I will not fill the gap with a guess.

The rest of the numbers speak for themselves. 96,37 is among the pool's highest stated RTP values, and it's a real advantage over time, regardless of where the cap lies.

02Two bonus paths in the same game

The features list includes both a Bonus Game with BonusGame: Pick Objects and a separate Free Spins round with Free Spins Multiplier and Additional Free Spins. It's an unusual combination — most titles in the pool stick to only one of the two.

The Pick round is the simpler of the two: bonus symbols trigger a screen with hidden objects, where a pick reveals a prize. There is no strategy, but it yields a payout that does not depend on how the reels land.

The Free Spins part is where the big numbers have to come from. With both a multiplier during the free spins and the possibility to extend the round, the structure is built for accumulation, which suits the high volatility.

03Fixed jackpots and what they mean for the math

Fixed Jackpots on the list mean fixed prize levels rather than a progressive pool. The advantage is that the player knows what is in the pot. The disadvantage is that part of the RTP is tied up in rare outcomes, which further amplifies the high variance.

Multiplier and Random multiplier work in both directions — in the base game and in the bonus — while Wild symbols keep combinations alive. No cascades, no Megaways: the frame is a classic reel slot with a bonus layer on top.

04Ruby Play and the visual presentation

The theme list points in a different direction than most competitors: Card suits, Coins, Diamonds, Gods, Gold, Harp, Ring, Treasures, Zeus. Card suits and rings among the deities suggest a symbol set built on classic playing-card values at the bottom — a pragmatic solution many studios use.

Ruby Play is a mid-sized studio, and Olympus Explosion feels like a solid but not groundbreaking contribution to the genre. The name promises explosions; the feature list delivers bonus rounds, not a new mechanic.
