Fortune of Olympus — review

The key figures are the best in my slice of the shelf: 96,55 % RTP, high volatility and a cap of 10.000 times the stake. The release is dated 15. december 2025. Note the RTP figure in particular — it's half a percentage point above the genre standard, and half a point is a lot in an industry where everyone copies each other's math.

01Cluster Pays instead of lines and tumble grids

Cluster Pays sits at the top of what I think matters here. Wins are determined by contiguous groups of identical symbols rather than by lines, and Scatter Pays on the same list means that the counting does not require adjacent positions in the classic sense. That creates a different rhythm than a payline machine: fewer tiny wins, more medium ones once a cluster has built up.

It’s also a mechanic that suits a mythological theme better than the usual six-by-five grid, because the symbols are allowed to collect in clusters instead of sitting in a line. Whether that is enough to visually separate the title from the house’s other Olympus catalogue is another matter — the inventory is still lightning, helmets, rings and gems.

There is no Hold and Win or jackpot structure. Fortune of Olympus focuses on the base game and a single bonus round, which at least keeps the design manageable.

0296,55 procent — and the small addition RTP range

96,55 % is a decent figure, and on this shelf it is among the highest. But the features list also includes the item RTP range, and that should be understood: it means the game is supplied in multiple mathematical versions, and it is the operator, not the player, who chooses which one runs.

In other words 96,55 % is the top version, not necessarily the version you're facing. Always check the figure in the game's info screen at the operator you use. The difference between the top version and a lower setting can easily be over a full percentage point, and that's far more decisive than any bonus feature.

This is not a criticism of the game itself — the practice is widespread — but it is the individual piece of information that is most worth checking before you put money on the reels.

03The free spins and the role of the multipliers

Free Spins, Free Spins Multiplier, Multiplier, Random multiplier and Additional Free Spins are all on the list. The combination suggests a round where the multiplier accumulates rather than resets, and where the round can be extended along the way. In a high-volatility cluster game that's exactly where the bulk of the theoretical payout usually sits.

The 10.000x ceiling is lower than the 15.000x that several smaller providers advertise. I don't necessarily see that as a disadvantage: a lower ceiling combined with a higher RTP usually means a larger share of the payout lies in the range an ordinary player can actually reach.

Bonus Bet and Buy Feature are both present. Both raise the effective stake, and both are convenience rather than an advantage.

04How I would rate it in relation to the shelf

Compared with the other Olympus titles from december 2025, this is the best documented: RTP above standard, volatility actually stated, a win mechanic that isn’t a copy of the neighbouring title, and a provider with a well-documented track record.

High volatility still applies. No matter how nice the top RTP looks, your bankroll must be able to endure long stretches without a win, and a session should have a limit set in advance. The age limit in Denmark is 18, and ROFUS is the place to go if play starts taking up more than it should.
