Zeus Legends of Olympus — review

The rest of the datasheet doesn't help: the cap is 1.000 times the stake, and the volatility is not specified. The game was released 11. november 2025. There are sensible items on the feature list — mystery symbols, an energy meter, growing reels — but they must be evaluated from the starting point that the cost to play is higher than necessary.

0194,5 procent: what it costs in practice

RTP is the share of the total amount staked that the game theoretically returns over very long runs. At 96 % the house keeps four kroner out of every hundred wagered. At 94,5 % it's five and a half. It sounds small, but on a machine where the same hundred kroner is wagered again and again over an evening, the difference eats away noticeably faster.

The feature list also includes the item RTP range, meaning the game is delivered in multiple mathematical versions. That means 94,5 % is not necessarily the floor — the operator can in principle run a different setting, and it's worth checking the game's own info screen before staking money on the reels.

There is no bonus feature that compensates for a low RTP. Features determine how the money is distributed, not how much there is to distribute.

02Mystery symbols, energy meter and growing reels

The mystery symbol is the most interesting entry: symbols revealed together as the same type, which can turn an apparently dead screen into a big win. It's a tried-and-true way to add excitement to the base game without cascades.

Symbols collection (Energy) functions as a visible meter toward the bonus part, and Expanding Reels give more positions along the way. Together with Respins, Bonus Game, Bonus symbols, Multiplier and Wild it's a fairly standard but fully functional set.

No free spins in the classical sense are on the list. The bonus portion appears to rely on respins and the bonus game rather than a free spins round with an accumulating multiplier.

03The gamble button — the feature I'd rather do without

Risk/Gamble (Double) game is included. It's the classic double-or-nothing button, where a won prize can be risked to be doubled or lost. Mathematically it's typically closer to neutral than the rest of the game, but it increases variance sharply and tempts you to gamble away a win instead of leaving it.

Combined with Bonus Bet and Buy Feature there are therefore three separate buttons, all pulling in the direction of a higher effective stake. In a game with 94,5 % RTP this is a poor combination of features.

Set a limit beforehand. ROFUS and stopspillet.dk are the Danish tools, and the age limit is 18.

04Is there a situation where I would recommend it?

Honestly: only if the mystery symbols and presentation hit something for you that the competitors don't. There are over forty other Olympus titles in the pool with a higher stated RTP, and several of them have both a better cap and stated volatility.

A ceiling of 1.000x need not be a problem in itself — it usually points to many smaller wins and longer playtime. But without a volatility indicator and with an RTP below the standard, none of the arguments that would otherwise justify a low ceiling remain.
